VOLUNTEERING

Nifty Thrifty's mission is supported by many community volunteers. Volunteers are an essential component of Women and Children's Horizons and Nifty Thrifty. We value the contributions of time and effort of each one of our individual volunteers, as well as corporations and community groups. Volunteers are needed at Nifty Thrifty to help sort and organize donations

Volunteer Services

  • Completed Volunteer Application

  • Satisfactory Reference Checks

  • Clear Law Enforcement and Social Service Record Checks

  • Agree to WCH Code of Conduct and Confidentiality

  • Has not used WCH services in the past three years

  • Complete training course (if interacting with clients)

  • Be at least 18 years of age

Requirements

  • Sorting donations

  • Tagging and sizing donations

  • Unloading donations

  • Cleaning

  • Community outreach
